SYDNEY, May 4, 2004 / FW/ --- Day two Sydney and the sun is still shining and smiles of buyers and press seem as fresh as ever in welcoming new trends and turning points for the well and not so well known names in the Australian fashion business, from darling Wayne Cooper to brother and sister team Camilla and Marc.

Alex Perry: Classy 1920's Inspired Looks

Alex Perry Alex Perry showed a series of red carpet numbers that wowed the Australian press as he took a left somewhere in his designing choice by moving from his usual party prettiness to classy 1920's inspired looks.

His slick, confident and sensual women dressed in bold colors and full length fringing that accentuated the female body’s best assets, breasts enhanced by bodices, waistlines and glowing shoulders.

Demonstrating his beading, fabric research and cutting skills, Perry turned out lovely dropped waistlines, mixed velvet and satin and made possibly the best white pearl satin deep front cut dress that I have seen for a while.
