SYDNEY, May 6, 2004/ FW/ --- Whew!!! Another season done, or should I just say, the beginning because technically, the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week is the first set of shows to herald the Spring 2005 season. The Milan Menswear Show, which is slated to start on June 27, 2004 historically, begins the international fashion season. With Australia giving its best effort to be included in the international fashion calendar, the season might as well start “down under” if it is up to the organizers of MAFW. Like any city, trends emerged here in Sydney. The inspirations and looks are so eclectic; it will be a few days before I can put it down on paper. Meanwhile, allow me to close this journal and I will see you in Milan! Ciao!!!
