Nine Associations Join Thailand's Dept of Export Promotion to
Launch BIFF 2002

Department of Export Promotion of Commerce Ministry joins with 9 associations: Thai Garment
Manufacturing Association, Thai Weaving Industry Association, Thai Textile Industry Association,
Thai Bleaching, Dying and Finishing Association, Thai Silk Association, Thai Union Traders
Association, Bobae Traders Association, Textile Development Industry Association and Thailand
Brand Association.
Each organization will come together to organize the Bangkok International Fashion Fair
(BIFF2002) during January 21-25, 2002. Trade will be conducted from January 21-23, 2002 and
the fair will be opened to the public between January 24-24, 2002.
The organizing of the fashion, apparel and textile fair is a continuous cooperation between
government and private sectors with aim to create a forum for trade negotiation. The BIFF 2002
is the 17th fair, which has received increasing attention from companies and the people from
Thailand and overseas.
