May 7, 2003/ FW/ -- A design partnership born out of friendship, Easton Pearson is
the creation of two women - Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson who have known each
other for over 20 years.
It started with a visit to the Indian subcontinent 10 years ago, where the design duo
recognized the extraordinary textile tradition and rich culture of the Indian civilization.
They incorporated those in their designs, and even used Indian beaders and embroiders in
Mumbai to create adornments for the Easton Pearson label.
Today, the Easton Pearson label is known all over Australia.
