Grey Ant Grey Ant Fall 2007: For A Very Mild Winter

NEW YORK, Feb 3, 2007 / FW --- Showing at the Altman for two seasons in a row today, Los Angeles-based Grant Krajecki took inspiration from Hollywood for his Fall 2007 collection for Grey Ant.

As the press notes said, ‘this is best told like a screenplay is sold: "Married with Children" meets "Tootsie" directed by Woody Allen,’ the collection is a tongue-in-cheek take on fashion with humorous, serious even philosophical moments.

The 1980s was prominent in the collection with big shoulders and trapeze / tent dresses, interspersed with brief jackets, one-shoulder blouses and tight-fitting jeans.

Not necessarily a fall collection, Grant Krajecki took his inspiration to heart, and perhaps he meant it for the Southern California denizens who enjoy very mild winters.
