LOS ANGELES, Oct 26, 2004 /FW /– Heike Jarick is proving her staying power as one of the leading designers for the L.A. ready to wear market. Showing 36 exits divided into five groups (midtown jungle, cool city, downtown underground, fever in the neighborhood and urban lagoon) all ready to go out and paint the town red.

Looking like their ready to go to battle in the fashionista warfare they started coming out all wearing this stiff feather like ornaments on their hair only proving that sexiness, femininity and strength are essential parts of womanhood.

Using lurex, cotton gauze, silk jersey, crinkled and wrinkled organza, chiffon, cobweb lace and taffeta and showing them in mini dresses, layered and paneled skirts, tuxedo pants, shorts and bikini. And all in soft pastel color palette.

Highlights included the Ecru Victorian corset jacket, the transparent python motorcycle jacket, the iridescent leaf green kimono jacket with gathered sleeve showing strength and growth with her designs.

Not forgetting the puffed sleeves on her silk jersey top and the pink jersey dress with uneven puffed sleeves as well as the hand knitted caplet and the netting hand crocheted poncho.

With a very soft and flowing collection, Heikejarick simply states that although a woman needs to be strong to survive and make it in the current day’s corporate world should always reserve the right to be sexy and edgy at times as well. As the saying goes, all work and no play make a dull day.
