Justine.Taylor Made & Mad Cortes: Both Are Meant For L.A.

SYDNEY, May 8, 2004/ FW/ --- Justine.Taylor.Made and Mad Cortes both showed on the first day of fashion week and they shared a lot of things in common, and I don’t mean just the venue which was the Rocks Warehouse.

With pretty skirts and loose tops, sometimes with ruffles and even transparent, I felt I was back in Los Angeles looking at LA Fashion Week.

Of course there are so many similarities between Los Angeles and Sydney – both are big and both are near the water. Hence, it is logical for fashion to be very similar.

So, truly, these two young designers should look into the Los Angeles market. In fact, they should look into the whole the U.S. West Coast market for their designs. They might be pleasantly surprised that the Americans will like them.
