Julien Macdonald To Kick Off London Fashion Week

NEW YORK, Sep 17, 2005/ FW/ --- Tomorrow, London Fashion Week officially opens at the BFC Tent located at the West Lawn, Natural History Museum in Cromwell Road of the British capital.
Kicking off the Spring 2006 season is no other than Julien Macdonald, the city’s brightest star, known for his exuberant and glamorous gowns. With over 40 designers in the official calendar alone, London is experiencing a small resurgence as the British Fashion Council aggressively try to attract new designers to show during fashion week. Mainstays for London continue to be Julien Macdonald, Jasper Conran, Paul Smith, Nicole Farhi and newcomer Basso & Brooke.
