The Loro Piana brothes Pier Luigi and Sergio were born to fashion. Their
family has been supplying cashmere to ancient tailors and royalty for two hundred
years. And when the two brothers took over the business (as it has always been,
the business is handed over from parents to children), they continued to sell
their luxurious cashmere to modern fashion designers - Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren
and Donna Karan to name a few.
So, are they fashion designers?
By birth, by heritage, and the nature of their business, they
are. In fact, you can consider them as part of the fashion dynasty, by their family
