Sara Palacios: Art-To-Wear
Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall 2003
Sara Palacios Fashion Show to benefit Covenant House of California
LOS ANGELES, Mar 26, 2003/ FW/ --- When an artist starts designing clothing, you have
to expect the unexpected.
Cuban-born artist Sara Palacios has been recognized worldwide for her abstract and
emotion-evoking award-winning paintings.
Painting alongside her husband, Rodrigo Palacios, Sara has been a prolific artist
for over 20 years.
As an artistic challenge, the husband and wife team began designing Art-To-Wear
one-of-a-kind clothing for women, under the label, SARA PALACIOS.
On Sunday, April 6th, 2003, at 8:30pm, the Fall 2003 Collection of Sara Palacios will
be unveiled at the Congra Room, 5364 Wilshire Blvd, LA, 90036.
Meant for women who enjoy unique pieces that no one can replicate, Sara Palacios Fall 2003
promises to be a colorful array of original hand-crafted and hand painted couture for women.
Each piece is hand painted by Sara or Rodrigo Palacios and personally signed, be it a
long radiant coat, a dress, a pair of pants, a skirt, a scarf, or a duster.
When you wear Sara Palacios, you literally wear your ART on your sleeves.
But on Sunday April 6th, it will be Sara and Rodrigo who will be wearing their hearts on
their sleeves.
Proceeds from their fashion show will benefit the Covenant House of California, a charitable
organization which provides a 'home' to homeless youths.
Sara and Rodrigo Palacios have been regular financial donors of Covenant House California
since 2001 and firmly believe in its cause and mission.
Tickets to the show is $10.00 and available at
