Sanctuary Clothing To Present Collection at Mercedes Benz Shows L.A.
LOS ANGELES, Oct 22, 2003/ FW/ -- The successful Southern California fashion house,
Sanctuary Clothing, is proud to once again be a part of Los Angeles Fashion Week,
showing their new collection down the runways of 7th on Sixth for the Mercedes-Benz
Fashion Week LA.
Ken & Debra Polanco, the husband and wife team behind Sanctuary Clothing who enjoy the
beach community lifestyle of Southern California, are happy to be premiering their
Spring/ Summer 04’ Collection during Los Angeles Fashion Week.
The energy surrounding Los Angeles Fashion Week has been growing with every season as
Mercedes-Benz now sponsors the 7th on Sixth runway shows, drawing worldwide press coverage
& celebrity attendance for some of the hottest designers out of California.
Debra Polanco, a native Californian & head designer, continues to offer a line full of
designs that promote the California lifestyle with relaxed & casual styles retaining
a fashion forward edge.
For the Spring/ Summer 04’ Collection, Sanctuary Clothing will have us ready to hit
the beach in sun washed Caribbean brights, offering layered sheer tanks and tees paired
with flippy skirts as well as the latest shapes in bottoms like skinny straight legs,
pedal pushers, capris & palazzos.
New to Sanctuary Clothing for Spring/ Summer 04’ is linen! These designs, in salt
washed faded irresistible tropical drink colors, like kiwi, lilac, strawberry,
orange crush, watermelon & lemon, are lightweight, are breezy and relaxed with
the great Sanctuary detailing.
In addition to a ton of color Sanctuary Clothing gives us the juxtaposition to this
season’s brights: White! Sanctuary Clothing’s hot white and white on white makes a
grand entrance with white denim, white camouflage, white capris, white tennis skirts
and the biggest statement this season: white linen!!
Sanctuary Clothing, a bottom driven, related separates collection with a focus on clothing
for today’s contemporary woman that combines comfort and high fashion, became one of this
summer’s hottest items when Jennifer Aniston in the May 2003 issue of Harper’s Bazaar
named Sanctuary as one of her “must haves” for summer wardrobe.
Currently sold in better department stores as well as specialty boutiques worldwide,
Sanctuary Clothing is growing strong, continuing to create the Southern California flavor
in fashion for all to enjoy.
