MILAN, Oct 2, 2004/ FW/ – During fashion week, whether in Milan or New York, Paris or London, parties seem endless and invitations are numerous, but in the difficult task of picking and choosing where to be seen among the en vogue set, C’N’C is a must for the fashion conscious and curious.
The diffusion line launched by Ennio Capasa for Costume National last year has become an essential date in the Milan fashion calendar, where one can always expect an evening with a difference, one full of inspiration and innovation.
Last night for spring summer 2005, Capasa gathered some of Milan’s most creative, known as King Kong People, a collective of writers, designers and visual artists for the occasion, leading to an impromptu street event at the ATM bar; historical Milan city hotspot.
The ATM itself was once an inner city bus station before being transformed into a trendy all glass bar over ten years ago and since becoming an avid supporter of all things fashionable and stylish.
Drinks flowed and music spun, the new ‘Ennio in Loveland’ video was projected, graffiti artists decorated and walls were plastered with C’N’C signature butterflies and cartoon characters.
Where nights turn into days and timepieces are put on shelves, fashion has always been about symbolism of generations, separating and distinguishing. This is changing, and perhaps it is because the new generation is no longer separable, but rather a giant cosmic mix, where ones eyes must be open and absorption essential.
Capasa is a key to this new ideal, where fashion goes beyond, it is now a symbol for a way of life, where ‘amity and love-in all its forms-always win over bigotry, egoism and violence.’
