MILAN, Sep 30, 2005/ FW/ --- There’s nothing like a party to get you started, and trust it to be C’N’C to take it into their own hands and assure everyone was sipping on absolute vodka Tuesday night.
Crowds of people flocked to the pink lit design space in Via Tortona for fabulous music by DJ Hell, the undisputed guru of the ’sexiest electro house’ to celebrate the diffusion line for Costume National by Ennio Capasa.
Capasa makes young spunk wearable and continues collaborating with the mythical motorcycle giants Ducati, transforming his train of thought into street chic vitality to grab at.
Masculine and feminine silhouettes merge together to create a single ideal dressed in constructed and washed jackets, trousers that hang low and designer biker jackets. Sporty trench coats in the lightest nylons merge with soft leathers to compliment femininity and radiate naturally found vitality and freedom.
Inspired by the street and sixties and seventies rock icons like Joplin and Jagger, funk becomes sharp detail like rivets, red buttons and joyful prints for t-shirts.
A celebration for an energetic collection that even had Natalie Imbruglia make a surprise visit, now that has to be something of a twist with attitude.
One question though, will she attend the Costume National show in Paris on Tuesday, October 4?
