Cotton Inc. Announces Sponsorship for New York’s Olympus Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week Spring 2005

DALLAS, Aug 24, 2004/ FW/ --- For the third consecutive season, Cotton Incorporated, a research and marketing company representing upland cotton, is one of the major sponsors of 7th on Sixth during Olympus Fashion Week slated on September 8-15 at Bryant Park in New York City.

Funded by U.S. growers of upland cotton and importers of cotton and cotton products, will supply the official cotton T-shirt worn by volunteers, staff and crew during fashion week. And in partnership with W Hotels, Cotton Inc. is also sponsoring the backstage VIP Lounge, to provide fabulous downtime activities to Fashion Week’s glitterati.

“Cotton Incorporated’s ongoing presence at 7th on Sixth emphasizes the continued important relationship between cotton and fashion, while highlighting cotton to the leading designers in the industry,” said Ira Livingston, Cotton Incorporated senior vice president, consumer marketing in a statement.

Through its booth, which will be located on the north side of the lobby in the Main Tent adjacent to the Evian lounge, information on the variety of fashion services the company offers will be made available to fashion week attendees.

Cotton Inc. fashion marketing team, which consists of experts in the women’s, juniors, men’s, children’s and home markets, as well as a lifestyle specialist, all of whom travel the world to bring vital information to the industry on what’s new and what’s next in trend forecasting will be available for consultation and interviews during the week.

Also, during Olympus Fashion Week, Cotton Incorporated’s trend forecasters will attend the shows and file a fabric and textile trend report on its two international websites, www.cottoninc.com and www.thefabricofourlives.com, as well as on Worth Global Style Network’s website, www.wgsn.com, as a wrap-up to Olympus Fashion Week.

The company is also a sponsor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles, October 26-29.
