DALLAS, Sep 1, 2004/ FW/ --- The Isle of Capri, home to two Roman emperors, Julius and Tiberious Caesar, both of whom were enchanted by the beauty of the island. One thousand years after their rule, this Campania’s isle off the cost of Italy still fascinates us.

Rosita Hurtado and Carmine DiSarno, two formidable designers in their own right joined forces to create a new label, Rosita & DiSarno, combining their expertise and eye for fashion to bring forth innovative concepts and luxurious ready-to-wear.

For their debut collection under the label Rosita & DiSarno, they capture the divinity and extraordinary allure of the Isle of Capri, where that element of chic flows effervescently with the socialites of the world as they grace the streets and clubs of Capri.

The vision for the season’s theme came while the two designers were yachting along the southwest coast of Capri at dusk.

Carmine DiSarno exclaimed “It was the reflection of the sunset on the water and sand that looked so intense. The energy of the colors and elegance of Capri inspired our Spring/Summer 2005 collection.”

Flavored with subtle fabrications that elude the essence of the island, vibrant sun-kissed hues in flowing georgette, chiffon and crepe mimicked the movements of the sea with the asymmetric lines that contour a woman’s body.

It’s a convergence of haute couture and pręt-a-porter as the two designers fuse their talents to transform the allure of Capri into a wardrobe worthy of the fashionable you.
