NEW YORK, Feb 10, 2006/ FW/ --- The Grammy Awards that was held last Wednesday crowned ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ by Green Day as the ‘Record of the Year’ yet, with the New York Fall 2006 season going on, fashion was still a big part of the event.

Fashion icon and Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman was seen wearing Givenchy haute couture, black wool trimmed dress with a twisted band of black patent leather with a bodice in crocheted cashmere. Over this dress Ms. Kidman wore a white leather and hand-pleated cotton tulle coat embroidered with crystals trapped in tulle.

Italian fashion powerhouse Versace dressed Jay-Z who performed during the evening with a one-button white cotton suit from the Versace Spring Summer 2006 collection.
