DALLAS, Aug 17, 2005/ FW/ --- Two names, one a veteran and one a freshman, Gottex and Vlassis Holevas will grace the tents at Bryant Park during the upcoming New York Spring 2006 season.
Gideon Oberson who designs Gottex decided to go for the gold for Spring 2006 with bright Caribbean-inspired looks featuring vivid colors and playful ruffles.
Known for his sexy swimwear and beachwear that rivals the Brazilians, Gideon Oberson’s sunshine bright yellows will blend into sunset gold as swimsuits combine glowing metallic and soft pastel hues on Friday, September 9, 2005 at The Tent in Bryant Park.
Like the Gottex woman, “my collection this season uses a color palette that is very feminine, sophisticated and chic,” commented Gideon Oberson about his Spring 2006 collection in a statement.
Greek designer Vlassis Holevas makes his foray in the U.S. market with his debut at Olympus Fashion Week on September 15, 2005 at 9:00 PM in the Atelier.

“I chose to debut my collection in New York as part of my expansion into the US market. There is no better place to introduce a collection of lavish and innovative evening wear and no better time then now when my designs will be available in the US for the first time,” said Holevas in a statement.
Holevas is a based in Athens, Greece where he has been catering to an elite clientele of socialites and celebrities. The collection of eveningwear and bridal designs that will be available at Neiman Marcus has retail price points from $2,500 to $15,000.
