Partnering with 112 year-old Hartz & Co. known for its men’s tailored clothing, Michael Wesetly launches domestically this September at the Atelier in Bryant Park during Olympus Fashion Week.

“Born in the USA, I am extremely excited that my collections will finally grace the American fashion runways, and even more so that the domestic debut will take place at Olympus Fashion Week,” Michael Wesetly said in a statement.

One of the few African-American global designers whose labels for all apparel and accessories proudly carry the MADE in USA tag, Michael Wesetly’s Spring/Summer 2006 collection will feature dramatic combinations of color and texture with creative detail not to be found in any other line.

“We incorporate culture and elegance into our collections at Michael Wesetly Clothing, qualities that the American customer holds in high regard,” the designer said describing his collection.

Known for its quality craftsmanship and style, as the label continues to grow, it is still one of the few companies in the world where all clothing is MADE IN USA.

After receiving global recognition at Russian Fashion Week, Wesetly has signed an exclusive deal with high quality suit manufacturer Hartz & Co. Michael Wesetly is currently presenting his collection at fashion week in the Czech Republic.

The Spring/Summer 2006 collection, entitled “CLEAN” debuts on September 10, 2005 at 1:00pm under the tents at Bryant Park, is considered one of Michael Wesetly’s best ever.

To complement his tailored clothing, new items will be featured in this year’s collection such as a signature belt buckle, Michael Wesetly Golf, the tunic, and an array of classic t-shirts.
