On September 10, 2005, from 9PM to 12MN at the StyleLounge, the famed fashion visionary will launch her Patricia Field handbag line to complement her womenswear line, ‘House of Field.’

Launched in 1966 in her own downtown boutique, Patricia Field designing under the ‘House of Field’ labeled virtually created what has become known as downtown style.

Yet, Pat Field’s talents know no bounds, and though the House of Field continues to exist through all these years, including a store at Hotel Venus in Soho that opened in 1996, Field branched out to costuming.

Her work at “Mother Goose Rock and Rhyme” earned her an Emmy in 1989, her first, followed by two more Emmy Awards for “Sex and The City.”

Among other awards she received the CFDA’s Stylist of the Year, which was a category created because of the impact Field’s styling has had on the fashion industry.
