NEW YORK, Aug 27, 3005/ FW/ --- David Rodriguez and Harmon, two exciting talents who emerged at the New York fashion scene will separately unveil their Spring 2006 collections on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Style Lounge.

David Rodriguez, who is showing at 12NN was inducted into the CFDA in 2001.Since then, he has become a media darling, receiving extensive coverage in major publications and outlets.

He has received numerous design awards and has become a favorite of Hollywood beauties such as Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, Carmen Electra, Anna Nicole Smith, Toni Braxton, Eve and many others.

Rodriguez cut his fashion teeth while apprenticing with Richard Tyler, and honed his craft while working for Chanel in New York, before launching his own line.

Six hours later, Harmon, a 2005 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award winner will hold his catwalk presentation at 6:00 PM.

Known for his well tailored clothing with a touch of drama, Andrew Harmon trained as a fine arts sculptor at the Massachusetts College of Art, who nurtured an interest in fashion while still in school, taking the occasional fashion design course.

After graduating he pursued his growing fashion fascination by apprenticing at Run Collection under Susan Cianciolo and going on to design sweaters for Betsey Johnson.

After a brief stint working with Miguel Adrover, Andrew set out on his own launching the Harmon line. Harmon was one of the Ecco Domani prize winners in 2004.

Harmon’s silhouettes, rich fabrics, and luxe simplicity evoke smart tailored clothing that has elicited praise and comparison to a young Yves Saint Laurent.

Like the Harmon Men’s collection, he is steadfast to his aesthetic sensibility of sharp tailoring, and beautiful dress shirts and fine knits all interpreted in luxurious materials with his women’s collections as well. The characteristic of the women’s line is eon par to that of the men’s collection.
