LOS ANGELES, Jan 12, 2007/ FW/ --- New York heats up with the release today of the tentative schedule of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week slated from Feb 2 – 9, 2007 at Bryant Park.
John Bartlett kicks off the season at 10:00 in the morning, again Kenneth Cole pointedly missing from the line up for the second season in a row.
Surprise names this seasons include British-born designer Neil Barrett, who is based in Milan and showed off site last season. He makes his debut at the tents in Bryant Park.
Another well-known name, Evisu, known for its expensive denim jeans is also showing its latest collection this season in New York. Evisu historically unveils its collection in Milan.
Zang Toi is back again at the tents. Last season, he opted for the more intimate setting of his atelier.
