NEW YORK, Sep 6, 2006/ FW/ --- It’s fashion week! With a record-breaking 80 designers on the official roster of Olympus Fashion Week, the Spring 2007 catwalk calendar is full!

With John Bartlett kicking off the season, Friday is a full day. Perry Ellis, BCBG Max Azria, Toni Maticevski, Marc Bouwer, Cia. Maritima, Gottex, Verrier, Duckie Brown, Nicole Miller, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Ashish N Soni, Chris Aire make up the roster for the New York season’s first day.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the record breaking number of shows,” said Fern Mallis, Vice-President of IMG Fashion. “There are so many talented designers from around the world coming together in The Tents.”

From Sep 8 – 15, 2006, the fashion world congregates in New York to see the new collections from: Academy of Art University, Sabyasachi, Alice Roi, Atil Kutoglu, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Terexov, Jenni Kayne, Sass & Bide, Lacoste and Dragana Ognjenović on Sep 9.

On Sep 10, Lela Rose, Brian Reyes, Gustavo Arango, Tracy Reese, Sari Gueron, Diane von Furstenberg, Naeem Khan, Tuleh, Rosa Cha and Akiko Ogawa take center stage.

Sep 11 brings Willow, Carolina Herrera, Cynthia Steffe, Oscar de la Renta, Reem Acra, Luca Luca, Pamella Roland, Max Azria and John Varvatos.

TIBI, Monique Lhuillier, Bill Blass, Chaiken, Malo, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore and Heatherette grace the tents on Sep 12.

Sep 13 brings Ports 1961, Peter Som, Michael Kors, Richard Chai, Carlos Miele, Carmen Marc Valvo, Milly by Michelle Smith, Y & Kei, Anna Sui, Michon Schur, and Vlassis Holevas on the spotlight.

On Thursday, Sep 14, Alice Ritter, J Mendel, Badgley Mischka, Abaeté, Vena Cava, Vera Wang, Temperley London, Joanna Mastroianni, Custo Barcelona, Zac Posen and Jason Wu will unveil their latest collections.

The last day, Friday, Sep 15, the season closes with Project Runway, Lisa Thon, Manuel, Vivienne Tam, Erin Fetherston, Jay McCarroll, Doo.Ri and Chado Ralph Rucci.

In addition to the Olympus Fashion Week lineup in Bryant Park are Associate Member’s shows. These shows are included on the official Olympus Fashion Week calendar, materials, website and banners.

Bus service from Bryant Park to and from their venues provides an additional convenience for guests. Associate Member shows are Jeanisis by Anand Jon, DKNY, Jill Stuart, Charles Nolan, Tamara Pogosian, BECKERMAN, Mac Millan, Douglas Hannant, Yeohlee, Malandrino, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and EDUN.
