NEW YORK, Feb 1, 2003/ FW/ --- Patricia Fistes-Adams is aggressive, young, bold and gifted.
She is a brilliant visionary. She is not a generic designer-distanced petrified, but prefers
to move her audience into a worldof royalty.
Her clothes are not calculated to win the hearts of anyone.
Her vision and message is strong.
"This is not a canned definition of beauty," explained the designer. "It is an attempt to
go beyond limits and marry fashion, creativity and luxury."
"The human body is just a vessel, our souls animate the medium in which we transact life through,"
continued Patricia.
"We are given one life to make a positive difference in the world. The clothes that I provide
must protect and be the very best. I strive for #1."
Unique in couture, Patricia builds all of her garments larger than life. All of her designs
incorporate antibacterial linings which protect against gram (+) and (-) microorganisms
providing protection for the wearer.
While growing up in Arizona, she experienced a fair share of theater, traveling regularly to
New York and Europe to attend musicals.
"The sheer amount of costumes was inspiring," says the designer.
Her early talent steered her toward fashion, earning a four-year full scholarship to the
prestigious Pratt Institute in New York.
Graduating with highest distinction and winning several numerous national and international
design awards, her designs are world class.
Patricia's sense of theatricality is apparent in all her work.
From her breakthrough as part of Walt Disney's Theatrical production, "The Lion King," to
working with fashion czar of Asia, Pitoy Moreno, where she came under tutelage in 1997,
the young designer showed her mettle.
Her collections evoke creativity and the pure adrenaline rush of theater.
Her boundless energy needs an arena in which to perform.
Patricia Fistes-Adams is an indication of the vitality of a passage taken, a way of conceptualizing,
understanding and thinking.
"I hope to give method by which people combat darkness... to do good for others, to bring to light.
I will take over the fashion industry because inate talent, enthusiasm, and faith drive me. Make way."
