DALLAS, Aug 29, 2002/ FW/ --- Stephen Croncota has done it again. For three seasons in a row,
Croncota's Style Network has been named the Official Broadcast Television Network of
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Stephen Croncota who is the Senior Vice President, Programming of Style made the announcement
last Tuesday.
For Spring 2003, Croncota is reuniting the team that has made Style Network's coverage of
New York Fashion Week successful: Lloyd Boston and Krista Herman co-hosts the show.
Elisabeth Filarksi, Lauren Ezersky and Lynda Lopez will give daily special reports from the
tents at Bryant Park.
Style’s schedule of original programming for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week includes "Designers," offering an
in-depth look at today's leading designers and featuring color commentary from industry experts, must-have looks
and insider tips.
"Highlights" will showcase top designers and their latest offerings debuting throughout the week.
"Fashion Insiders" provides an up-close and personal adventure as viewers watch four fashion players experience
all the drama, excitement, hard work, parties, fashion shows and long hours that make up Fashion Week.
A new addition to Style's Fashion Week line up is "The Scene" which takes viewers to the streets of New York in
search of the latest hip edgy style of the moment.
Host Elisabeth Filarski will attend the most stylish parties and seek out the fresh new faces on the modeling
scene.
Lauren Ezersky will check out the fashionistas at the steps of Bryant Park and trend correspondent Jane
Buckingham will provide her signature trend reports throughout the show.
The schedule will also feature "Style’s Guide to Fall 2002" featuring a complete look at all the trends from
New York, Paris and Milan which are already available in stores.
From fashion show footage and backstage interviews with designers and celebrities to trend
forecasting and expert on-air commentary by the industry's most notable names, Style will
give viewers access to everything going on under the tents during the week.
Special coverage of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will also be broadcast on E! Entertainment
Television September 23 to 27, at 6:00 - 6:30 PM ET/PT with a one hour wrap-up show on
September 28 at 8 PM ET/PM.
Additional coverage will air on Time Warner Cable in Manhattan (35) on September 19, 20 and
23 from 4 – 6 PM ET.
