Torrente to Show Haute Couture Collection

PARIS, Jun 4, 2003/ FW/ --- The House of Torrente will present a collection of Haute Couture for Fall /
Winter 2003-04 on July 7 as part of the Paris shows.
After abruptly
canceling their Ready-To-Wear runway show last March following the
retirement of Artistic Director Rose Torrente-Mett, the company is now
entering a period of analysis, reflection and transition.
A new management
team is currently developing a strategy for the future.
The interim collection, to presented next month, will be designed by
Christophe Josse, an assistant of Torrente-Mett for a number of years, and
thus an adherent to her traditional style.
An announcement of a new Artistic Director is expected during the final
months of 2003.
