DALLAS, May 30, 2004/ FW/--- Thirty-eight runway shows, with 8 menswear designers debuting on the runway make up the official schedule the upcoming Spring 2005 Paris Menswear season.
Four emerging designers kicks off the season with David Curtis, Petar Petrov, Number (N)ine, and Masatomo occupying the first four slots on Friday, July 2, 2004, the first day of the shows.
Rykiel Homme, Jean-Paul Gaultier and John Galliano show later in the evening, making up the big names for the day.
While the womenswear season usually features emerging designers the first day, the menswear season mixes up established designers and emerging designers during the course of the day to ensure attendance by both press and buyers.
The highly anticipated debut of Ozwald Boateng for Givenchy Homme happens on the last day, Monday July 5, 2004 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme closes the menswear season.
The last show, which was usually occupied by Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche is sorely missing from the line up.
