PARIS, Jan 11, 2006/ FW/ --- Starting out as a designer in Paris, Antwerp born Libertin Louison quickly gained popularity with his collections that interplayed elegance with stirring romanticism.
Soon after he was invited to join the prestigious haute couture federation, with his innate capabilities to craft garments with dramatic silhouettes in sumptuous fabrics from silk to leather and cashmere to linen. Louison's avant-garde sensibility garnered favorable reviews drawing celebrity clients to his fold.
Taking a three-year hiatus from the rigueur of fashion, Libertin Louison had time to contemplate on his philosophy, his perspective and his passions.
In this moment of reflection, he came to see the profound value of each day, the grandeur of time, to mark the passing of time.
In this reverie, he studied fine fragrance parfum formation at Cinqième Sense Paris and developed a range of aromatic candles and a cosmetic line under the title 'Technique Indiscret.
Louison's past gothic designs have transformed and a modern, fresh style has evolved; 'Les Enfants ont peur du Noir' is a sensual collection for glamorous women; Equilibre.
The collection is designed in white and black mouselin, silk, linen, cotton and jersey. Unique pieces and limited editions can be found in Louisons presentation next to his sumptuous cosmetic line, which is sold at Le Bon Marché. Soon Louison will introduce his first perfume."
