Chambre Syndicale Publishes Men’s Calendar
PARIS, Jun 1, 2005/ FW/ --- The Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine has published the men’s Spring/Summer 2006 calendar. More than 45 collections are slated to hit the Paris runways from July 1st to July 5th.
This season sees the expansion of the French men’s fashion week, signifying continued rise in France’s male fashion industry.
Antonio Miro has the pleasure of opening fashion week. Other big names showing are Masatomo, Rykiel Homme, Gilles Rosier, Issey Miyake, John Galliano, Francesco Smalto, Dior, Givenchy, etc.
Paris Fashion Week would be nothing without big arrivals and returns. And this fashion season will be no different.
Brace yourselves for the return of Thierry Mugler to the catwalks. American designer Thomas Engelhardt of South Carolina is the new menswear designer at the house. He will be making his catwalk debut for the brand. Founder, Thierry Mugler, remains Mugler’s perennial artistic director.
Debuting this season on the Paris runways are Personal Project by Cyril Lambert, Walter Van Beirendonck, Eley Kishimoto and Ann Demeulemeester. The calendar also sees the return of the exciting and provocative designer David Kurtis.
Also debuting on the catwalks is Ungaro Homme by fashion house Emmanuel Ungaro. This collection and along with the Mugler collection will be the most highly anticipated shows of the season.
