Chambre Syndicale Releases Definitive Paris Menswear Spring 2008 Schedule
Paris Menswear Show Spring 2008

PARIS, Jun 19, 2007/ FW/ --- The Paris menswear season heats up with the release of the definitive menswear runway show schedule for the Spring / Summer 2008 season. And as expected, there were additions and a shuffling of venues and time for the designers.

The first day is as edgy as ever with Gaspard Yurkievich, Jean Paul Gaultier, Number (N)ine, Yohji Yamamoto, John Galliano and Givenchy gracing the calendar. Juun.J, a Korean designer also makes his debut in Paris, while emerging designers Tillman Lauterbach, Francois Hadaya and Attachment continues to throw their hat in the ring of the very competitive Paris menswear scene.

The second day marks the return on the runway of Kenzo Homme, which will actually close the day with a show slated at 9:00 PM. Kris Van Assche, current Creative Director for Dior Homme is the highlight of the day as he unveils his latest collection for his eponymous brand at the Garage Génie de la Bastille. Dior Homme is actually scheduled to show on the last day of the Paris menswear season, which is on Sunday, July 1.

Cerruti, after being absent on both the Paris and Milan runways for several years is back, and slated to show its collection also on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the Lycée Stanislas - 6 rue du Montparnasse.
