NEW YORK, Aug 29, 2003/ FW/ --- In 2002, Raika D. took Milan by storm on its debut
collection. With 480 doors opened worldwide in two years, Raika D. is fast becoming
the label to wear.
On September 18 at 7 PM at The Josephine in Bryant Park, Raika D. takes her bow in New York,
with her Spring 2004 collection.
The brainchild of designer Raika D., the label which bears her name is a unique
collection that stems from a woman's sensuality.
Seductive, free flowing and definitely romantic, the clothes use the finest
fabrications and intricate styling.
For Spring 2004, delicate tulle fabrications, intricate lace appliqués, and both ethnic
and geometric prints dominate the collection.
Colors are bright tomato red and tangerine orange, softened by porcelain white.
And for the evening, hues of ethereal pale gold and okra emanate romance.
Splashes of silver metallic paint add intrigue to sultry black ensembles.
Raika, who made her name in the knitwear business with her 'Dolce and Ribelle' label,
is famous for her cutting edge designs that sculpt a woman’s body.
Spring/Summer 2004 promises to be passionate and stimulating.
It’s bold for a self-assured woman, spanning ages from 20’s to 50’s glam.
All in all it’s a Romantic Rendezvous, surely a feast for the eyes.
