NEW YORK, Feb 10, 2004/ FW/ ---Reem Acra's tribute to the roaring 1920's is the theme to her "speakeasy" Fall 2004 collection.
Shades of pink, burgundy, gold, black, silver and lavender are all included in her color palette.
Embroidery, sequin, beads and crystal detailing gives the collection that glamorous, elegant and very sexy yet sophisticated look.
The first of 21 exits was an antique silver/burgundy chiffon chemise with silver bead details. Not to be surpassed with her burgundy tulle embroidered swing dress this time detailed with crystals.
The designer's models came down looking like their ready for a very exquisite and elegant evening. Although one should not be surprised if you see one of her collections hit the red carpet in one of Hollywood's premier nights or even one of the award shows.
Many would have probably thought that the finale would be one of the designer's creative wedding gowns but we probably will have to wait for spring. After all wedding gowns are normally seen in the spring.
As usual, Reem Acra's creativity in couture is just breathtaking and out of this world.
