NEW YORK, Feb 8, 2005 / FW – Inspired by a very modern gypsy that simply wants to have fun and be noticed, Reem Acra sent out 40 looks of very rich, alluring and sexy, sexy and even more sexy pieces to preview her Fall 2005 collection.
Staying true to her craft and artistry, Reem Acra offers mouthwatering pieces that are simply drop dead gorgeous for the season in question.
A lineup of rich color palette in copper, iridescent blue, gold, bordeaux, and fuchsia. Even some bright floral and snakeskin prints are served up in unique shapes and unusual combinations.
Luxuriously rich fabrics such as silk chiffon, brocade, tulle, lace and velvet made up the pieces.
Talk about embellishments, the designer gave plenty of it from antique embroidery, to peacock feathers, sequin, and fur.
Cleverly enough, as if not getting enough ornamentation on the pieces, she also matched them up with bold and beautiful jewelry by Iradj Moini. In this particular case, less is more does not apply since it was demonstrated here that more is certainly better if done properly and tastefully.
With more women now seen around town during the day with fully embellished tops or jackets, then one can certainly do no wrong in dressing down Reem Acra's short sequin or tulle jackets over jeans then dress it up at night with a gold lame pant for example.
Seeing that the entire collection was just wonderful, you'll just have to come and see them for yourselves when it hits the store comes Fall 2005 since it would just simply not be fair to mention any favorites since 40 will be too many to mention.
So plan early for those upcoming holiday parties and special events come Fall/Winter 2005 and seek out this lusciously lavish and very sexy collection by Reem Acra and be rest assured, you will not be disappointed!
