LOS ANGELES, Apr 15, 2003/ FW/ --- Though not officially part of L.A. Fashion Week,
husband and wife design team Rodrigo and Sara Palacios attracted a lot of the fashion
press and celebrities during their Fall 2003 presentation last April 6.
With Jimmy Smits, Priscilla Barnes, Elena Sahagun, and Erin Carufel at the front row,
together with editors from WWD and W Magazine, the buzz is on for the fledging label
SARA PALACIOS.
Rodrigo and Sara had been painting for over 20 years, and their artistic talents
have been recognized worldwide.
Two years ago, they tried their hand in fashion designing, and instead of using canvas
to show off their work, they use fabric.
The result, one-of-a-kind clothes that cannot be replicated.
Meant for the discerning woman who prizes individuality, the Sara Palacios collection is
not for the faint of heart.
Because when you walk in a room in one of Sara's creations, you will surely be the center
of attention.
The clothes are 'art-to-wear', and signed individually by the artist.
Expect to be looked at as if you are a peacock, because you will be one in one of these
gowns.
