Sass & Bide: Raucous Rock'n'Roll Looks

Sydney, May 15, 2002/FWD/ --- Sarah Jane Clark and Heidi Middleton are the high-energy girls
behind Sass & Bide, a rock'n'roll-inspired label that debuted last year.
With its pop-conscious allure and over-the-top styling, Sass & Bide has already caught the
eye of Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kate Moss, among others.
Sass & Bide's raucous presentation took place in an old warehouse in the outskirts of Sydney,
where a troupe of Mad Max-inspired Amazons stomped onto the catwalk in customized T-shirts,
slashed skirts with lace overlays and sequined belts, wide faded jeans, patchwork micro-skirts,
and distressed sweatshirts.
Plumed headdresses, ragged pelts, and dangling chains completed their urban warrior look.
