Sephora's Face of Fashion
Sephora Introduces The Face of Fashion; Announcing The First Ever Beauty Runway Show at 7th on Sixth
New York Fashion Week Fall 2001
NEW YORK, Feb. 6, 2001 / -- For years beauty editors and cosmetic
experts have been attending the fashion shows at 7th on Sixth to get a glimpse
of the newest beauty trends. Since the focus was mainly on the clothing, the
cosmetics looks took a backseat. This year, Sephora is changing all of that
with the first ever Beauty Runway Show.
Last season, Sephora played an invaluable role in forecasting the cosmetic
trends and bringing them directly to the consumer. This season Sephora's
Beauty Runway Show will serve as the ultimate barometer in determining the
season's beauty trends. The Beauty Runway Show, to be held on Thursday,
February 15th at 10:00 am in the Bryant Park tents, will be the first of its
kind to present cosmetic visions from 15 of Sephora's most sought-after brands
including:
Anna Sui
Benefit
Body & Soul
Cargo
Christian Dior
|
Club Monaco
Frederic Fekkai
I-Iman
Lorac

for Fall 2001. Beauty giants -- including Jeanine Lobell of Stila, Vincent
Longo of Vincent Longo, Carol Shaw of Lorac, Frederic Fekkai of Frederic
Fekkai, Pati Dubroff for Cargo, Jean Ford Danielson of BeneFit, Dany Sanz of

Sui, Charlie Green for Sephora Artist, Anne Upton for Christian Dior, Jay
Manuel for I-Iman, Mally Roncal for Shu Uemura, and others -- will be behind
the scenes to bring their beauty visions to life. To ensure maximum
visibility, high resolution video screens will capture close-ups of each
model's face as she takes her walk down the runway.
