DALLAS, Mar 13, 2004/ FW/ --- It’s not about uptown girls or downtown girls. It’s about Paris style. Parisian chic is unique, that you can spot it a mile away. And for Fall 2004, Sonia Rykiel did not stray far. She stayed in downtown Paris, and the lady is Parisienne.
Maybe it’s the beret, or the black hose. It might be the fur stole or the cabbage rose. No matter how you look at it, the Sonia Rykiel woman is from the City of Lights.
And come fall, if you want a touch of Paris, go to Sonia Rykiel and try out her houndstooth tweed coat with fur sleeves. The ecru long coat with a cabbage rose will also look good.
During the day, the pencil-cut skirt with ruffled hemline and double-breasted blouse cinched at the waist with a tiny belt will look perfect.
And for evening, the printed spaghetti strap dress with a hint of blue camisole showing underneath looks sexy, especially with the blue fur stole.
Sonia Rykiel even showed ruffles, a nod to the romantic trend that has hit all the runways from New York, to Milan to Paris.
The real star of the show is a lady called Paris, home to the Eiffel Tower and everlasting style.
