English by birth, Toni Maticevski was a denizen of London's East End before moving to With a BA in fashion design and an Honours degree from RMIT, Melbourned native, Toni Maticevski honed his skills at Donna Karan New York and Cerruti in Paris.

Born in 1978, the 26 year old designer combines the traditional couturier techniques with modern and innovative styles of the 21st century.

After his graduation in 1997, he spent a year at Donna Karan in New York, and then moved on the Paris in 1998 to work at Cerruti.

In 1999, he returned to Australia to develop and launch his own label "Maticevski."

Maticevski is known for his folding, twisting, draping and pleating techniques.

In 2002, he won the “New Designer Award” at this year’s Melbourne Fashion Festival.
