TORONTO, Oct 18, 1999 / FW/ --- Like its U.S. counterpart, the Toronto Spring/Summer 2000
Matinee Fashion Show was shown under a 15,000 sq. foot tent.
Instead of 7th Avenue, it was at Bloor St. And unlike the New York's show which was closed
down for a day by Hurricane Floyd, the Toronto Show went on, plus the rain of course.
The rain did not dampen the spirits of everyone. The media, buyers and store representatives
came in full force.
The pit was crowded, lights flashing as photographers take pictures of the models on the runway.
