NEW YORK, Sep 16, 2004 / FW/ --- It will be all about liberation, fun and movement for Venexiana’s spring/summer 2005 collection.
Cream gauze sun dresses in creamy pinks, gray, blue, purple and tan were at the heart of this show. Floral prints in chiffon and lace adorned fierce models. The collection had an overall image of movement, dance and fluidity due to the choice of fabrics and raw edge hems.
The collection took a turn with leather, laced vest matched with denim jeans and minis. Distressed leather was featured on tops and jackets as well as shorts.
The highlight of the collection was the wonderful use of fox furs for spring as well as Venetian gondola and bishop gloves.
The different gloves were laced and studded with diamantes with a leather base. These key style items gained inspiration from the Victorian period along with sultry nights of Venice in tulle evening gowns in flesh chiffon.
The show commenced with a beautiful black beaded evening gown with a show stopping fox shoulder hug shawl.
