Woods & Woods for L'Oreal Collective

Jan 4, 2003/FWD/ --- By far the most forward-thinking clothes to make their way down
Melbourne's runways thus far were those of the L'Oreal ready-to-wear collective, one of
three held in Melboure.
What began as a very bulky and somewhat dismal collection for Woods & Woods (picture chunky
knit Michelin Man sweaters and drab shin-length skirts) ended up surprisingly colorful and
inventive.
The Singapore design duo played with riding and motorcycle pant silhouettes and zip-up
blousons, piecing together brightly hued leathers and cottons to a clean, fun effect.
