Paris Haute Couture Names Three New Invited Members

PARIS, Oct 25, 2007 / FW/ - The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, France's fashion governing body announced today the election of three new designers among the invited members for the Spring 2008 Haute Couture season.

Alexis Mabille, Josep Font and Stéphane Rolland are joining Adam Jones, Boudicca, Cathy Pill, Christophe Josse, Eymeric François, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Gérald Watelet, Gustavo Lins, Lefranc.Ferrant, Marc Le Bihan, Nicolas Le Cauchois, On Aura Tout Vu, Richard René and Udo Edling as part of the elite group of emerging designers of the made-to-measure craft.

Anne Valérie Hash and Maurizio Galante, who used to be in the invited members list will be granted the "Commission de Classement Couture Création" which means that they are now being considered to be correspondent members.

The Paris Haute Couture season is slated to take place from Monday, January 21 thru Thursday, January 24, 2008.
