full_frontal_fashionNEW YORK, Dec 14, 2009 / FW/ — To the French fashionistas, Mademoiselle Agnès does not need an introduction. Covering fashion for the hit program “Nulle part ailleurs” during the 1990s, she became permanently etched to the French as a fashion professional extraordinaire.

And tomorrow, the American audience will finally see Mademoiselle Agnès in action. Her hit fashion series Habillées” (“Dressed”) will premiere December 15th on Sundance Channel’s style-oriented web portal FULL FRONTAL FASHION (www.sundancechannel.com/fullfrontalfashion ) as a six-part web series.

Directed by Loïc Prigent (“Signé Chanel”), Habillées is produced and also hosted by Mademoiselle Agnès. The bi-annual series is shot during the fall/winter and spring/summer fashion weeks in New York, Paris and Milan.

The six programs airing on sundancechannel.com, cover the Spring/Summer 2010 collections in New York and Paris, with Mademoiselle Agnès taking a particular interest in spotlighting the next generation of designers.

In New York, she finds much cause for excitement in the likes of Proenza Schouler, Joseph Altazurra, Jason Wu, Thakoon and several others.

Then it’s on to Paris, where Mademoiselle Agnès sets herself the daunting task of attending as many runway shows as possible; not only the heavy hitters (Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, John Galliano for Dior, etc.), but also the perennially individualistic (Vivienne Westwood) and the relatively low-profile (Isabel Marant).

Meanwhile, she continues her search for potential successors to today’s French fashion lions, interviewing government ministers and visiting the studios of fledging designers such as Maxime Simoens.

A fashionista must-see, “Habillées” delivers irreverent, insightful and often hilarious coverage of the entire fashion world: the trends, the business and, of course, the people.
