MILAN, Sep 25, 2006/ FW/ --- The first of the three labels that Anna Molinari is showing this season, Blugirl, the youthful line by the Capri native is a delightful journey to the 1960s with its seemingly innocent sexiness.

Think of Bridget Bardot in the beaches of Nice, or Ursula Andres in the Isle of Capri. Bombshells in their own right, yet playful; sexy without being overt, not showing a lot of skin and simmering with sensuality.

Opening with a bright red outfit followed with cherry prints on white, it’s almost like saying, ‘Please, pretty please, with ice cream and a cherry on top.’ It’s perfect for summer!

Drop down waist, the hemline rolled, the waist cinched with a belt. Hose is a necessity, and Anna Molinari proposes that you match it with whatever you are wearing, red for red, nude for white and blue for blue.

Daywear consists of mini skirts and Cracker Jack inspired shorts, which by the way also comes as conquistador style hot pants. Body suits are also in, together with the tube-top catsuit.

The idea is to show off the figure to be sexy, but not show a lot of skin.

Very delightful and memorable are the sailor inspired tops and dresses, complete with sailor rucksacks. Floppy hats that are wide brimmed and big sunglasses are the accessories of choice.

Sexy without going over the top, Blugirl is for girls who just want to have fun.
