LOS ANGELES, Mar 22, 2006/ FW/ --- David Bitton showed a total of 48 exits (30 women’s and 18 men’s) to preview the Buffalo’s Fall 2006 collection that is based on urban silhouettes and highlighted his jeans line, of course.
Mixing, matching and layering wool and velvet, jersey with plaid, pinstripe with plaid, and argyle sweater with pinstripe worked quite well with the concept that David Bitton was trying to get across.
Showing cropped pants in velvet, plaid and twill, vests in aubergine wool, pinstripe, jersey, and a fur trimmed cord vest, various tops and blouses to go along and complete the look as in a draped jersey top with attached shrug, distressed white tee, off the shoulder thermal tee and a Henley thermal tee just to name a few.
Fine detailing on the denim also varied from antique studding, leather zippered detailed, and embroidered pockets just to pick your interest as well as a denim mini and a denim racing jacket.
Other detailing came by way of ruffles and lace, corduroy pockets on twill pants, as well as suede lapel and cuffs on a wool coat to help keep one warm on those cold wintry days.
But the best of show was his plaid cape, the embroidered black cardigan with asymmetrical hemline as well as the embroidered suede coat.
The proposed look is certainly very easy to imagine being worn from Santa Monica to Melrose, Sunset to Malibu as well as Soho to Greenwich Village.
