SYDNEY, May 4, 2005/ FW/ --- Nookie, Stephanie by Conley+Cranford, Watersun want everyone to take their place under the sun as these three emerging designers presented beach and summer wear that are sexy and playful.
Swimsuits and string bikinis are what design duo Brooke Coleman & Niki Sernack for NOOKIE wants you to wear in summer 2006 wherein harem pants, low-waist shorts and short-cropped Navy jackets serve as beach wraps.
Using bare-chested male models wearing only white pants and sailor hats for both eye-candy to the female audience and invoke a lighthearted atmosphere at the beach, Nookie’s nautical inspired beachwear are knock outs.
With a theme ‘And God Created Woman’ Stephanie Conley & Stephanie Cranford for STEPHANIE was all about girly clothes that are lighthearted yet coy.
Opting for a color palette based on the ocean blue that were mixed with beige and tiny prints, in 1950s silhouettes, it also had an innocent feel to it.
Talk about sexy! Paul Peterson’s Watersun is swimwear, swimwear, and more swimwear! One piece, two-piece, bikinis and bandeaus, keyhole cut – in short, a girl who wears Watersun swimsuits has one motto, ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it!’
Though the weather outside was in the cool low 70s Fahrenheit (20’s in Celsius), the temperature went up several degrees when Paul Peterson sent out his collection.
