SYDNEY, May 8, 2004/ FW/ --- The delicate patchwork, handmade and personally overseen designs of Sandra Thom have a dreamlike rag doll aura about them.

A trip down memory lane takes one back to when we walked barefoot on the grass and believed in everything natural and organic.

Thom revives the special love we all have in needing to remember the past, romantic or otherwise.

Threads hang unfinished from dresses, jackets have three quarter length sleeves and trousers are like naval sailor pants flat fronted and with large buttons.

Playing dress up and pulling garments from mums closet and reworking them help redefine the urban dwellers need for something more homely, making the comfort zone Thom's ideal space.
