SYDNEY, May 4, 2005/ FW/ --- Very Sydney and very Australian, Josh Goot turned cotton t-shirt fabric into an entirely coherent and contemporary wardrobe.

In a breath of fresh air and seemingly perfect compromise for what the public may think to be synonymous to Australian fashion, Goot manages to structure 1980’s inspired four and six button double breasted jackets for both men and women, turn long trench coats into must have wardrobe necessities and make flat fronted drawstring trousers fall perfectly to the floor for daywear.

A bright colour palette moved from cool blues and shimmering silver to luscious lemon in a celebration of spring summer, sports stripes followed pant legs tuxedo style and tailored ladies shorts were matched with the perfect cotton T.

But as Goot turns sweats into suits with such apparent ease along with the right mix of casual elegance and sports divine leaving one wishing to get back into the comfort zone as soon as possible and still look great, the one question that does spring to mind is ‘what would those pants look like if you don’t have a model figure?’
