SYDNEY, May 8, 2005/ FW/ ---- The Mercedes Australian Fashion Week official roster of designers lists Jozette as ‘celebrating the allure of femininity,’ but for Spring 2006 Jozette Hazzouri showed she has bigger plans.
Sending a bevy of very revealing outfits that can only be termed sexy, Hazzouri stayed within her design philosophy – from the cute sheered minis to the keyhole dresses with asymmetrical hemlines – it was a lovely collection from the word go.
But it was the evening gowns that captured the imagination of the audience – red carpet worthy that can compete with the established houses in New York, Milan and Paris.
With Australian actresses such as Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts as the current darlings of Hollywood, and both of them willing to lend their celebrity status to help out their countrymen, (in this case, countrywoman), there is a big chance that we would see a Jozette creation during the next awards season.
