SYDNEY, May 3, 2005/ FW/ --- Lisa Ho must have heard that Hollywood is planning to make a movie based on the 1980’s nighttime soap, ‘Dallas,’ because she had the Texas big hair down pat, complete with the brazenness of the decade.
Deep V necklines, halter-tops, big belts, and fluid silhouettes dominated this earthy and golden colored collection that also has a safari feel because of the animal and jungle prints.
Keeping the hemline just below the knee, that sometimes was shown as asymmetrical or rolled at the hem, Lisa Ho’s day dresses were reminiscent of the hippie era of the late 1970s.
She even sent out several walking shorts that were better known as culottes during those days.
But it was with the cocktail dresses and eveningwear that Lisa Ho shone, as she emphasized the shoulders with strapless, halter and spaghetti straps bodices.
