Matthew Ames DALLAS, Jun 3, 2007/ FW/ --- For Fall 2007, New York-based designer Matthew Ames proposes a minimalist style where the graphical diamond shape is the heart.

Architectural silhouettes that are easy-to-wear and eye-catching, Matthew Ames vision is uncluttered and centers on shapes and forms.

The waist is emphasized with the sartorial cuts and graphical elements that focus on the bodice and brings your eyes to the waist.

Sportive American aesthetics is the key, from the trapeze shaped trench coat to the floor length frock and black & white daywear with red accents.

Not era specific, this collection is described perfectly the Coco Chanel’s quote, ‘fashion passes but remains.’ Because, though this was presented in Paris last March for Fall 2007, it actually transcends seasons.

In short, this is a ‘year-round’ wardrobe, and will remain contemporary from Fall 2007 and beyond.
